Frequently Asked Questions
Blue line
How long does the entire process take from design to installation? About two to three weeks from the time of final measuring. We are sensitive to the fact that we are the last trade to work on your project. We are also a major purchaser from the tempering plant that produces our safety glass which allows us faster turnover to the consumer.

What are the standard sizes?
There are no standard sizes. There are no standard heights or widths. Frameless showers are not mass produced; each one is made to fit the field conditions. We can assist you in designing an appropriately sized encloser for your space.

Do you have a showroom?
We do not have a brick and mortar showroom. Every piece of glass is made to fit unique field conditions, so we need to meet on the job site to review your project personally. We can discuss specific dimensions/requirements once we meet. Also, our website is designed to be interactive; you can view examples of shower enclosures in our gallery and select your hardware on the links provided beforehand.

How are the enclosures engineered?
We utilize a Computer Aided Design (CAD) program supplied by our hardware manufacturer to engineer the enclosures and to ensure they are structurally sound. It is never “our opinion” on the structural integrity of the frameless enclosure. We are required to submit all designs to our hardware suppliers CAD program. This is our standard operating procedure for all enclosures.

3/8” glass or 1/2” glass? Your choice. They both look great. Hardware is the same with either thickness; gaskets are the only thing that change. They offer the same structural integrity and the cost between the two is minimal.

The cost? Since these are custom fit there are no two alike. In order to give an accurate quote we need information as to the shape of the enclosure( in-line ,right angle,neo-angle or custom), rough dimensions, glass choices, and hardware finish.

What is 'ShowerGuard'? ShowerGuard is a new technology from Guardian Industries that comes with a guarantee. This product consists of a permanent coating the protects the glass from chemical erosion. More Information...

What is the life span of the typical enclosure? Framed shower enclosures or kits, have the life expectancy of carpet, about six to seven years. However a frameless shower enclosure with proper maintenance should last a homeowner the life of their mortgage.

How do I clean my frameless shower? Keep a squeegee handy; incorporate wiping the shower with it as a SOP or standard operating procedure.
